Pros and cons of Walmart Photo app for iPhone and iPad
Walmart Photo app good for
It worked well after a little work. Pick pictures first and save to an album, it will save you a lot of time.
Works Great. Have used it many times with great success for printing photos.
So easy to use with iphone , no more headache to keep usb ...
It works about 95% of the time and it is a quick and easy way to print photos off your phone
Ill totally be printing more photos from my iPhone going forward!!!
Have had great success with this App. Much better than trying the old way.
Some bad moments
The interface on this app is horrible. I have my photos app set up to sync via iCloud - so on my phone I have access to all my photos. The app only lets me select photos that have hi res versions actually on the phone. So - out of the thousands of photos accessible on my phone - there were only 50 that I could print - and not the ones I wanted.
So frustrating...
Im on the latest version of iOS 10 too and the latest version of the app too. Please make it work better with iCloud photos!
Additionally if you select back it automatically disconnects their required wifi access and you have to close apps and enter back into your settings to set up the connection yet again.
- Disappointed consumer.
I used to have this app and I was never able to get it to work - says I need to connect the Kiosk to wifi! Never worked! Deleted it and months later, I re-downloaded it today as I need pictures printed in a pinch! Thought it may have been updated - nope, still doesnt work! I follow the instructions and nothing helps! GARBAGE! Dont waste your time!
I braved the Christmas shoppers to print 7 pictures off to complete our Christmas gifts. Packed up my 2 yo and spent almost a hour at the kiosk with the help of a Walmart worker and finally left without the pictures. Loaded and reload onto my phone and reset everything we could. Tried wifi, then Bluetooth and everything else we could. Nothing would work. Very frustrating.
If you use iCloud and optimize iPhone photo storage than this app is useless to you. The app does not load your stored photos making it useless to apple customers with more than a few photos.
I remember when I could email my photos and pick them up in the next day or two. Now you cant do this in Canada? Is this for real?
